Message	Mine was cracked when I bought the car, and I finally figured out why the gas struts wouldn't hold the hatch open - the wing becomes a giant sponge and fills with water once it opens up. I replaced mine with an ionicdynamics replica - got it last week and I think it's a great piece and reasonably priced.
